All children. All abilities. All classrooms.

Who It's For

Designed to make communication more accessible, inclusive and engaging for children with a wide range of developmental and communication abilities.

Every child deserves a way to communicate

Communication doesn't look the same for every child.

Some children develop spoken language early. Others need additional time, instruction or communication supports. Some communicate through gestures, signs, sounds, pictures, spoken words, or a combination of methods.

My Simple Signs™ embraces these differences. By consistently modeling ASL alongside spoken language, educators provide children with an additional visual way to understand and express meaning.

Especially relevant for

  • Infant and toddler programs
  • Preschool and prekindergarten classrooms
  • Early education programs
  • Inclusive early childhood classrooms
  • Special education programs
  • Typically developing hearing children
  • Children with emerging or delayed speech
  • Nonspeaking and minimally speaking children
  • Children who benefit from visual communication supports

Designed primarily for children ages 0–5, with applications in special education and other communication-support settings.

Children are never required to produce a sign to participate. Observing, recognizing, listening and engaging are all meaningful parts of the learning process.

Bilingual by design

English + Spanish + American Sign Language

Every classroom deserves communication tools that reflect the children and families it serves.

LANGUAGE 01English

LANGUAGE 03ASL

Another visual way for children to understand and express meaning.

This approach is especially valuable for early education programs, multilingual early childhood classrooms, and inclusive educational settings.

Three languages. More opportunities to connect.

Communication is for everyone.

Give every child in your classroom more ways to be understood.
